Knowing your name has history and tradition behind it, especially for a son, is priceless. And frankly, giving up all other naming rights is a huge deal, so i would take it if i was your wife!!

I vote Spyridon, my first son's name is Vasiljan in honor of my husband father is hard for Americans to pronounce the name but we have to keep the tradition alive.
