Brett Morrison - Next Director of Bands of Goddard

I have three kids in the music program and Mr. Morrison is loved by all of them! Please consider Mr. Morrison for the Director position, he definitely deserves it.

I feel Brett Morrison would be the best candidate for band director. I have 2 children that participate in marching band and have a great relationship with Mr. Morrison. For a district that has invested in the Capturing Kids Hearts Program he would be the best choice. He already has established meaningful relations with all the students and aslo the parents. His leadership would definitely improve the relationships between band families and the director. He built great relationships before the Capturing Kids Hearts was the districts focus.

I am an old student. I know how much Mr. Morrison means to everyone.

We have 2 students in GHS, one in Colorguard and one in the Marching band with next year in Jazz band. Brett Morrison inspires our children to excel in their respective areas. When they get a chance to learn from him, that is the best part of their day. GHS seriously needs to reconsider this ridiculous decision to not accept Brett Morrison's application and hire him as the obvious choice for the Job to lead our students in their musical futures. In the absence of enough positive adult role models for our students, how can they bypass this opportunity to hire Brett Morrison as the Band Director of GHS?

Our son has loved having Mr. Mo as his teacher the last 4 years and He deserves to be promoted.

I have known Brett since 1986. Very honest hard-working man. Extremely dedicated to music and cares about his students. He’s been doing Much of this job already.Time to pay him for it.! No one should be held back on pursuing their dreams or trying to better themselves. Good luck Brett

My daughter was in the band at EHS and I know Brett personally from baseball and being friends with his wife. I am not the person to say who should get this job, but I do believe Brett should get a fair shot at it and that he would be great at it!

My Grandson from Kansas City goes to summer band camp and it is because of Brett Morrison that he goes. Would hate to see him miss this opportunity, he knows his passion and love of kids and music and has been inspired by Mr. Morrison to be a part of that.Would love to see Mr. Morrison have a larger role in the music department !

I have refrained from signing this petition because I am Brett's wife, but I shouldn't have let this stop me because I am also a band parent. However now it is evident that administration is not doing what is best for our kids. Brett is one of the most dedicated teachers who's love for music is evident in everything he does. He wants nothing but the best for of his students. He wants them to succeed and I know this because several students come to our house often for extra help. He wants nothing but what is best for this program and students. It would be nice if the administration wanted what was best for all of our kids as well.

Brett has integrity, professionalism, and God given talent!! He is innovative and creative. He loves his students and they love him in return. Brett would truly be an asset for the Goddard School System as the next Director of Bands

Mr. Morrison is an AMAZING teacher. He teaches our children privately; and gives his undivided attention. His love for music shows through dedication (on time, stays over time and devoted to teaching) and we will follow and support him.

Colorguard wants Mo to be our director. He is an AMAZING leader. And supports the all kids (even the trumpets). Lol. 'ALL MIGHTY MO IN THE TALKER BOX!!!' WE SUPPORT YOU!!!!!!!

I believe that Mr. Morrison would be the best fit for the students! And I have heard a lot of marching band students say that they wanted "Mo" to step up and take Danielson's spot.

I went to Goddard and graduated from Goddard High and I was in band for all four years. I went through the process of dealing with two new directors after the school's split and it's a hard process on the students. Mr. Morrison knows what needs to happen to let the students show their most potential all the time and he should have the position as head director since he already knows the students, the program, and the schools.

Our daughter excelled with Mr. Morrison. He is an amazing instructor, well deserving of the position.

Mr. Morrison is the only choice for Band Director of GHS. His qualifications, passion for music, proven ability to teach, exceptional leadership skills, communication and dedication to the students, band program and our school are unmatched.

Mr. Morrison is the obvious and BEST choice for Band Director of GHS. His hard work and dedication is shown on a daily basis. He is devoted to the growth, development & success of all students. His teaching ability is unparalleled - he can play and instruct for every instrument. He has been the band director without the title for years. It's high time he was awarded the recognition for all his hard work and dedication to our students, the band program and district by being officially given the title of Band Director at GHS!

Mr. Morrison has been a big influence in all our kids life.

I am a prior student of GHS and Mr. Mo was the BEST instructor a student could ask for.
