No where near enough is being done to cure Childhood Cancer. The NFL has done a lot to raise awareness for breast cancer during the month of October. The whole league goes pink during the month of October. With all the awareness brought just by going pink why cant they do the same by going gold during September. A kid dies every 2 hours and 50 min from childhood cancer. Over the past 30 years only one new cancer drug has been approved for pediatric use. In just one month there are 2 times as many deaths from childhood cancer then pediatric aids for the entire year. Matter of fact cancer kills more children then Cystic Fibrosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Aids, Asthma, and juvenile Diabetes combined. That is just a small amount of the disturbing facts from Childhood Cancer. Please help me get the NFL on board to raise awareness on Childhood Cancer. They are a extremly powerfull organization that can help make a change for our kids. Before you just go past and ignore this just think you never know when it is gonna be your son or daughter that gets this horrible disease.
