For the last five years GNR fans have been kept in the dark since the first announcement of the album Chinese Democracy. This silence is something the fans do not deserve. After an unexpected cancellation of the 2002 Chinese Democracy tour, which resulted in riots, we were given no official reasons for the canceled tour, even when the cancellation resulted in penalty fees fans were forced to pay who purchased tickets for the tour. We were also encouraged to e-mail an executive at Universal music to voice our anger at a Greatest Hits album that was being released against the bands and managements wishes. We were also encouraged to start street teams to help promote the album Chinese Democracy once its released.
To sum it up, the fans who will be starting these street teams to help GNR get played on radio and MTV, not to mention getting new fans interested in this group, have been given nothing but silence without one word from the GNR camp about the albums status. We do not consider Chinese Democracy a reward for this once its released, a reward is NOT something you pay for when you do work. A reward is respect for the fans that support you and are your key to success, especially a band that has been out of the limelight and with the reputation Guns N\' Roses has to non fans. All we\'re asking for is an official update on the status of Chinese Democracy, and a realistic time line of its release. We\'re not asking for an exact release date, when a tour will start, when a video will be made, the name and release of the first single, just an update. This is not asking for much. All we\'re asking is a little information and a little respect from a band we love and a band we will work to get to be one of the biggest bands in the world again.

Been waiting since 2002... still waiting. Axl needs to show some respect to the people who actually buy the music.

Need some answers. Even a small update would be better than this constant silence.

The riots in 2002 were because we were all so frustrated. Nothing has changed. Fix this mess.
