At GMWS where band and chorus are mandatory, it is important to keep a light, fun energy, which is exactly what Mr. Seavey brought to the classes. His spunky, lighthearted personality always made classes fun even for students who weren't particularly interested in music classes. Please bring him back, he was a great and inspiring teacher!

Seavey goes beyond his role as an extraordinary music teacher to my children and all the children who light up whether on stage with him or simply by being in his presence. He's a wonderful role model for our children and community. To loose him would be loosing a great reason for why we send our children to GMWS. Please reconsider and bring Seavey back.

Mr. Seavey made a huge positive impact on me throughout my time at Green Meadow, as a teacher and as a mentor. He always encouraged my interest in music and was always willing to dedicate large amounts of his personal time to students like me, who wished to study and perform music outside of school hours. His departure would be a monumental loss to the music department and to the community as a whole.

Mr. Seavey was one of the most influential teachers over my time at Green Meadow. He was really supportive of me during my senior project which was music based, and always offered his own time to help boost my skills and confidence. When it came to the day of my presentation, he was just as proud and supportive of me as my friends and classmates. I know that he would dedicate his tome to helping other groups of classmates with their own musical interests. He is a gem and it would be really important to us if he could continue to teach. He has unique offerings that the community could really use.

Seeing Mr. Seevey interact with the students has been inspiring. He is a role model for all at Green Meadow. One of the teachers that attracted us to GMWS. So sad to see him go, please reconsider...

Mr. Seavey is one of the best, most passionate, most inspiring and most motivated teachers I have ever had. He made band and choir some of my favorite classes and encouraged me to learn a new instrument and helped me through those difficulties. He was kind and supportive and went the extra mile to make his classes fun and make his students smile.

Mr.Seavey is responsible for my introduction into the world of music and i am eternally grateful for the passion and excitement he brought to every lesson. His inate kindness and lighthearted spirit acts as a guide for all who may question their musical abilities, and instead nurtures the creativity that is necessary in growing successful young musicians. Green Meadow would never be the same without him.

Mr.Seavey is SUCH a great teacher, great attitude, style, poise, command and the Green Meadow Waldorf music program would not look as good as it does now with Mr.Seavey teaching band and chorus. He's a gem!!!!

"BEST TEACHER EVER." This is how Mr. Seavey has been described by my daughter, his student. I actually chose to stay at GMWS last year because of him.

My 2 kids are very sad to hear that Mr Seavey is leaving. They haven't consented to that. I can't attend the meetings because of homecoming. But, we wish that we can meet him at GMWS in September!

Mr Seavy is one of my daughter's favorite teachers at the school. He inspired her to initiate piano lessons on her own in addition to her required strings. She committed to practicing on her own without my oversight. Although I see that she enjoys piano, I am certain it has everything to do with Jordan's teaching. She and I are both disappointed to lose him at this point, when we thought we would have many more years. I don't know if these relationships are being considered when signing off on his dismissal. But I will say I'm not sure she will continue piano without him. And, I am certain there are many other similar or more impactful reverberations from this decision.
