The George Mason University School of Law Class of 2014 would like extended library hours during the semester.

Currently, during the semester the library is open until 11pm each night Sunday through Thursday, and 10pm on Friday and Saturday. This is the earliest closing time for a law school library in the area. During the semester UVA Law, Georgetown Law, American University Law, and University of Maryland Law all keep their libraries open until 12am. George Washington Law closes it's library at 11:45pm.

Many students have been asked to leave the library while trying to study for classes at closing time. By extending library hours during the semester, students will be able to prepare for their classes better without feeling they were limited by the current library hours. We the undersigned appeal to the administration to extend library hours until 12am or later during the semester.
