Beginning in the Fall of 2011, Griswold Middle School's administration is mandating a looping-only model for the school (grades 5-8). You and your child(ren) will no longer have the option to choose the traditional model where students have different classmates and different teachers every year. This also means your child(ren) will have the same academic teachers and same classmates for grades 5/6 and then will have the same teachers and same classmates for grades 7/8. If you would like to have the option/choice to select a looping or a traditional model of schooling for your child(ren), please sign this petition.

My son definitely needs a change of scenery every year. Sticking with the same kids and teachers for two years is a recipe for boredom and social drama. Give us back our choice.

This is ridiculous. forcing families into one model is just lazy admin work. let us pick what works best for our own kids.
