Whilst Directors award themselves £1.47 million PHNT Trust Plymouth propose to cut NHS Employees pay by up to 15%
Derriford Hospital and 18 other South West NHS Trusts intend to join a consortium, dubbed the “South West Pay Cartel”, which aims to suppress wages and deminish staff Terms and Conditions.
With morale in the Trust already at an all-time low, we would encourage the Trust Board to concentrate on restoring some stability to the organisation and focus on getting a permanent leadership team in place, rather than exploring ways to potentially attack and undermine our members’ Terms and Conditions.
PHNT claims to be an ambitious and forward thinking organisation, looking to develop its portfolio of services and attract the best talent from around the country.

Seeing this kind of movement confirms that the frustration felt across the wards is not just local noise. The pressure on our staff is relentless but this momentum proves we are not fighting this battle in isolation.

it is absolutely shameful that they find money for big executive bonuses but want to take it from the people actually doing the work. stop the cuts now.
Ridiculous wastage of tax money. Focus on the staff and run the hospital properly instead of these games.

15% pay cut is a joke. how are people supposed to manage with the prices going up everywhere? greedy.
