I have been using gmail since week 1, and I have all of my email accounts stored there. Last week, they forced this "new compose" upon all gmail users. I don't like it for a myriad of reasons, but the short of it is that it makes me feel like I'm sending chats when I want to send true emails. While this product might desirable for children, it doesn't cut the mustard for me. (I have several chat clients already; email has its own purpose.) I have stopped using gmail because I hate this so much, but will return if they come back to their senses.
