I do believe a single line of the water sport devices, paddle boards lasers, sun fish etc. with the appropriate GLP ownership sticker should be allowed. Single line parallel to sea wall.

Please , bring your chairs and beach toys back to your house at the end of the day. Let us all enjoy the natural beauty of the beach.

We understand the intended benefit of the original privilege but it’s become an eye sore. Personally I have no issue dropping off and picking up beach items daily.

I have been going to beaches all over the world for 40+ years and no one ever leaves what they take to the beach on the beach. I do not let it keep me from sitting on the wall or enjoying the beach. I simply move it out of my way. No one owns the beach regardless of who you are or where you live period. Be respectful people

While there may be members of our community that are not bothered by the mess on the beaches, and others who value conveninece over all else, there are compromises that can be made to satisfy most community members. One idea is for the GLPA to keep 10-15 'beach club' chairs hung neatly on a rack at the entrance of the beach as a courtesy for members who are less able to bring their things to and from the beach. There are rarely more than 20 people sitting on South Beach at any one time, but hundreds of beach chairs are always there cluttering the space. I have 4 children and happily bring our belongings to and from the beach in a wagon every day, as my own parents did when I was a child. I hope that future generations are able to enjoy the beaches the same way that we did before the beaches were over run by so much stuff.

I find it amazing to see what people think is OK to leave on the beach. I even find the chairs annoying as you can’t sit on the wall at South Beach anymore without moving stacked chairs out of your way!!!

Completely support this initiative. The beaches have been overrun with debris. Thank you for trying to make a positive change.

One suggestion: If a person is handicapped ( as in they use a handicap parking space) perhaps a Handicap Chair sticker can be used.

Thank you for taking the initiative on this matter. The beaches should not be a place for anyone’s personal items. Carry your chairs and children’s toys to the beach each day. Otherwise your items should be gathered and given to charity. Be responsible for your possessions and do not impose them on the residents and especially the taxpayers of GLP. Sue Aberbach
