We the undersigned are petitioning Kabam to stop putting profits before player's experience. We note: Kabam claim they.. "... believe games should be irresistibly fun to play, so we measure our success based on how often people return to our games and how long they play" and "Today, as a developer of free-to-play online games that combine deep, immersive gameplay with the connectivity and interaction benefits of social networks, Kabam is leading the charge of a new wave of games – hardcore social games. We are passionate about going beyond stereotypical “casual games” to design a new breed of social games with features and game mechanics found in more traditional strategy and MMORPG titles, genres “gamers” play and enjoy." We believe: Kabam fail to uphold their own terms of service. Kabam repeatedly make promises they fail to adhere to. Such as the promise of an imperial standing for logging on a specified date. Kabam fail to properly compensate players fairly. We are aware of members losing troops because they can't go into vacation despite having day of rest whilst others have had entire armies replaced following attacks. Where is the equity? Kabam are squeezing out the free players in favour of those who buy gold. Whereas we have no problem with Kabam generating income for their labours it seems unfair for those who can not afford the game if it is to be purely gold driven. Free players have no access to a 6th city deed, despite being assured there are marks in place for them. If a player is unable to obtain a 6th city deed without purchasing it then we feel Kabam are not the developer of free to play games they claim to be. We further believe this in turn will drive players from their worlds and the game which will damage the game for all players and kabam. Kabam we ask you to hear our voices and start looking after all your members, free or paying.
