To Global Automakers - Offer More Ethanol Vehicles in U.S.!

Not only should they make more E85 vehicles but show the facts about the fake scares going around on the internet about it can cause damage to engines and fuel systems. If you look in a chemistry book, it will show that alcohol is chemically neutral. On some car and old lawn mower engines I knew of, they will run when adjusted to run on alcohol.

There is no sensible reason that automakers are not including E85 options in new vehicles. We have to get off our petroleum addiction. It is important for environmental protection, but also human health and well being for all generations.

When the Communists ban gasoline, and a new revolution comes to America, we'll need to make our own fuel. Ethanol can be made at home.

E85 is important and is a renewable source for cars. This doesn't depend on oil wells and such.

My only vehicle is a 2004 Ford Taurus SES. It is the best vehicle that I have owned for the past 60 years.

Every non-diesel, internal combustion engine vehicle should be offered having the option to run on E85. Nissan should be especially ashamed of themselves, having designed and manufacturing the most promising FlexFuel engine being produced today, the VC-T variable compression ratio engine. It's so sad to see car manufacturers being influenced by petroleum companies to such a degree that they will even hide the benefits of one of their biggest engineering achievements ever and possibly the most advanced engine ever built. The VC-T engine has the potential to be the optimum FlexFuel engine. Nissan engineers even touted this and were very proud to have designed such an engine which could take full advantage of the high octane qualities of E85, possibly getting nearly equal mpg using E10 gas or E85.

I run e-85 100% mixtures in any engine in warm weather with no problems. Chainsaw, lawnmower, 1987 Chevrolet van as a experiment. Ford focus. Cool weather demands warming air before engine intake. Just add a short wide pipe to near radiator area connected to air intake. Seriously people, this works. People trust my words. I have proven over 20 years to be correct. All vehicles can run 50/50 e85 mixed with gas. My check engine light comes on because the exhaust is so clean. Smell it for yourself. The light goes back off if I Keep putting regular gas back in tank. It takes sometimes a week to go back off. My point however, is e85 keeps the engine oil cleaner,the engine cleaner, the air we breathe cleaner. With no harm to engine, or any other parts. Really, have you tried it like I have Experts?

I wish they would pass a law making all cars trucks and SUVs flexible fuel in the USA it would give people the option to use the fuel they want

Replacing every combustion engine with an electric motor is a fantasy. Lets re-think bio-fuel. Ethanol was making oxygen and consuming CO2 when it was a plant. It’s renewable and it’s criticism is not helping. Make more 4 cylinder Ethanol capable vehicles. We can improve on it. It will be cleaner.

Market choices offer market flexibility. Consumers should be able to make a conscious decision about where their fuel comes from. Roll out ethanol-friendly vehicles NOW!
