I do feel as though we should have at least an hour pep rally. I do attend Ghigh and I have attended two other high schools as well, there pep rally's were more organized and were an hour and a half, I enjoyed participating in the games during the pep rally and hosting the pep rally. I feel as though Glasgow doesn't have enough school spirit during the pep rally's, I believe you should give us more time to recognize the athletes and other students as well. Also with me mentioning sports the football team has worked hard this season compared to the previous season and they deserve the time to be recognized properly with a great amount of time, they are undefeated and they will need all the support from the teachers and other classmates to get them ready to compete against Howard. If we encourage them to keep working hard by supporting them by spreading all the spirit we have during pep rally's and not only that but it would help give our school a better name. If the teachers are more supportive and show school spirit it could encourage all of us to be proud of our school and that could possibly help better our school in all aspects.

Yes, I'm a dinosaur according to some kids but when I was in school classes were shortened during the day to accommodate an hour pep rally at end of day. Kids were hyped up just in time for the game. Sports are a part of the school, you need to support them in all ways not just their classes.

Our kids deserve the time they need for athletic recognition. They should be allowed to celebrate athletic achievements and cheer on their fellow students. If they need 90 mins to do it, let them have it. They could be doing and wanting worst things....

I think that the pep rally should be longer than 30 minutes because it is a good time to get the school together and show their school spirit and show recognition of the sports.
