I shut everything off every day, no heat or air running during the day, no TV or lights nothing & some how I have to pay extra. I've always been frugal with turning my lights & tv off when I'm not using it or when I'm not home but have forgot a light at times & have my air or heat on all day/night set at 70 & last year or years past & my electric bill never got over $130 & now it's almost $200 & that's with me not using nothing at all during the day. You'd think my bill each month wold be no more than $100. I've had to make major adjustmentsearch to my budget by cutting back on how much is spent on groceries. I have to shop very cheap like $30 a week. I'm a single mom w/one income from my job. I don't get paid much so paying extra for doing what was asked isn't fair. I could use that extra $ thats has been unnecessary charged towards groceries & household items or for things my child may need. Wish the billing was the way it was before, I struggled before but nothing like now.

I'm disabled and can't afford to pay these rates and still eat. I'm currently looking for a house in the county if things don't change

It hurts the citizens of glasgow with these crazy rates something needs to be done fast before some one ends up dying from either freezing to death or from the heat where there afraid to turn there heat up or air on this is crazy its cheaper to eat out then to cook when we have a peak day in order to keep our bills down.

TRS has been presented by the EPB as a "choice". However, it also benefits those who use the most. Most residential customers who struggle with Infotricity have found that TRS will cost them even more. Billy Ray has stated that it may cost a little more, but some may find it worth it to not have to worry about the coincident peak. However, that's my point. Infotricity hurts. TRS also hurts. It isn't an option that provides financial relief whatsoever unless you are a customer using a substantial kW during the coincident peak.

I too feel residential customers and small business customers should not be paying the same rates as big business and industrial customers. This past year has been very stressful with the peak days and trying to conserve energy. I try to do that on a daily basis and always have. I am also opposed to the smart meters and the health concerns that are associated with them. We should have had a choice not mandated.

I do not like these rates. We have to live with constant fear of using any electricity during a mystery hour that is predicted for nearly 5 hours or more. No cooking, cleaning, showers, dishwashing, laundry, or showers for 5 or more hours during summer and winter months. This rate structure is not for residents! It hurts those who cannot help but use life saving equipment or low income residents.

Infotricity benefits large businesses by spreading out the burden of the coincident peak. A senior citizen using less than a kW during the peak hour should not be paying the same rate as a large business contributing hundreds of kW to the peak. Yet, those large businesses are paying LESS per kW than the most vulnerable of our residents. For Infotricity to be "fair," the coincident peak rate should be tiered with residents who use the least being charged the least per kW and large businesses using the most being charged the most per kW. There is no reason for residential customers, as a class, to be paying $10-11+ per kW during a peak they contribute very little to. Large businesses should be carrying he majority of that burden and paying up to $20+ depending on their usage.

I am concerned about the irregular electric charge amounts that some folk have stated are happening with their bills. Moreover, I am extremely concerned about the health issues associated with the smart meter technology and the fact the meter is located feet from where we sleep. The smart meter technology is new, not completely studied and I would like to see the smart meter an option rather than a mandate.
