Please do not do this. Being robbed at gunpoint in Houston by friends of section 8 tenants is why I moved to Needville. Don't turn Needville into a crime-laden city. Give us something else that will bring in revenue like more restaurants, a better grocery store, etc.

Being in real estate for 20 years, I can tell you first hand that this would be a bad decision for the City of Needville. Home values will go down, resale inventory will go up and crime will go up. Our overall grade, as a city will go down and that is a fact. I relocate people all over the US and Canada for corporations and I can tell you working in markets all over, that these types of developments effect the values and the community as a whole. You cannot come back from it, once its approved and done, its done. PLEASE SAY NO!

Most of us live here because of low crime rates our schools and just a quiet place to live. All of that would be in jeopardy if we allow this complex to be built.

We respectfully request city council to reject the request of this developer. There is funding available for those that need affordable housing. It doesn't make sense that people would be drawn to our town for affordable housing. Where will they work? Would any financial benefit this project might bring to Needville cover the additional costs that would be required to increase police presence around our town and our schools?
