Hey Minecraft fans! As you ALL should know, the 1.6.1 update came with a new launcher. I didn't understand why Mojang had to make a new launcher; the old one was fine for me. Anyways, this here petition is to get supporters to get Mojang to bring back the old Minecraft launcher. I know I definitely want it for a few main reasons. 1: The design isn't that great. It's just the Minecraft News section crammed into a smaller space with 'profiles' next to it on another section. Just...just why? 2. The profiles make NO sense whatsoever. People can just backup their minecraft.jar files or download new ones. Also, the mods don't work on the profiles, and I do every single check to make sure I downloaded them right, got the correct version and compatibility checks. 3. Why are there multiple tabs showing the console doing the scripts, the Profile Editor and the Local Version Editor? Seriously, if you're gonna make a new launcher, don't put random, unnecessary tabs in there. OK, I understand the Development Console in case coders want to know what Minecraft does before the MOJANG screen, but seriously! In my opinion, the new launcher just sucks. Plain sucks. I preferred the old launcher where you just logged on and played! And the old launcher didn't require any 'profiles' where you had to seek through finding the correct version and then slapping your mods in, only to find your game shuts down because a CLASS file is missing or corrupt! The old launcher only had ONE minecraft.jar, not a god damn billion! And best of the old launcher, putting mods in was WAY more easy. You only had to go into your .jar and delete META-INF and slap the CLASS files in there. That's all! So yeah, if you prefer the old launcher, support me on this!
