University of Pretoria - Give Us Back Our October Recess

I have test scheduled for the 10th and 12th of October. The recess is the perfect time i have planned to catch up and study for these tests becuase already i have another test scheduled for next week. Please give us our recess.

Already booked and paid my flight, if no one is reinbursing my ticket I will not be staying for any tests or classes.

I spent alot of money on a holiday! Tuks will pay me back!!!

Those that haven't protested are being wronged and robbed out of a holiday

I am on of those that was attending my classes, despite possibility of disruption. However, we have planned our times accordingly in light of the upcoming recess and much anticipated exam session. Many of us take this time to recuperate and study ahead for the last cycle tests and towards exams, OUTSIDE of lecture pressures and direct contact, and we have sacrificed a lot of time from family and loved ones for our academic obligations IN the scheduled time with vision to spend a bit of time with family this recess. This abrupt and drastic change is unfair on all accounts.

I think it is ridiculous that the University can't control the happenings and would rather close the kampus and just conform to this rrit groups, basically give them the caos they want .thisnis unfair to those who are willing to attend class and fini

People has arrangements, already paid a lot of money for the holiday, hope Tuks can pay everyone back.

Honestly you need to take control and not let a few students take over the university. We worked hard and deserve our recess

I spent a lot of money on the holiday which i will not be able to get back. Please be reasonable in this regard.

I need to do an assignment

I want to go to class , why can't the university /police keep violent protesters of our campuses so that the rest of us can study. Now we are all losing a well desirved holiday .

This is unacceptable. I have spent a fortune on plane tickets. The university needs to reimburse such expenses if they want to suspend the holiday at such short notice.

I really need a break, I have been writing almost every week more than once and I need this break!!!
