University of Pretoria - Give Us Back Our October Recess

I need recess as study break for Eng week 2

Give us our recess back.

Give recess back!! I would rather have a week taken off in December

I'm in full agreement with the petition. It's bad enough that it's only a week long, but to have it taken away is to demand too much from the students.

I understand the university is doing their best to accommodate the strikes but I personally feel that this was not the right decision. The inconvenience it causes for all of us it far too great.

Give back our October recess.

I want to go back to durban. Only get to do it a few times a year

Have travel arrangements during the October recess. Wouldn't mind writing tests in the evenings or on weekends

Without the recess there will be no time to study for eng week two

Really unfair that our recess is being used instead of the allocated to time. I look forward to this recess time to meet with family that I rarely see.

I do not support that my recess is being cut short, because other pupils decided to disrupt my edution time. Find the people who decided to cause chaos and suspend them or take their recess away. I am sure the University of Pretoria have the capabilities to reschedule tests and academic activities accord without cutting away from the October recess, or make a plan to get the situation under control.
