It's ridiculous to punish students for exercising their rights to protest in a supposed "free and democratic" society . Taking away recess will not deter us from fighting for free education ,

We have booked a family holiday months ago. We have not spent time together in months.

Vacation plans were made months in advance, booking fees and transport arrangements for the week of recess. Surely this short notice is not acceptable as it does not only impact on the students but families in general. This is not acceptable UP.
