Ek weet ons het nou belangrike akademiese tyd verloor, maar skyf eerder die 4de kwartaal aan as om die vakansie weg te vat. Ons het net 3 dae verloor, nie n week nie.

I already bought a flight ticket to visit my aging grandparents in Durban. They live alone and wait the whole year for me to visit in October since I'm the only family member in the country. I do not want to miss my precious visiting time with my grandparents due to the recess being delayed. This is not fair, financially and emotionally.

Taking away our recess would be unbelievably unfair! I have already made plans to see my parents... who live overseas.

I'm from Capetown and already booked my flight for the October recess. It would be very disappointing to lose that money that I don't have and also missing out on seeing my family. We as students who did not take part in this protest deserves a recess break!

Bring back our recess!!!

It's not my fault that we lose academic time over fees that I have paid!!! I paid for my education and I am not getting the standerd quality education worth that money due to these interruptions!!!

I need this as a study break for the second E-week. Otherwise I'm not sure when I'll have the time to properly study for these semester tests as they count for majority of our semester marks.

I will not be satisfied when the October recess is taken away because I have a lot of prep work to do during that time for quarter 4.
