Thomas Davis is everything the keep pounding mantra stands for. This humble man may not want the statue, and if so that is fine. He deserves the honor though.

As someone who has had 3 ACL surgeries myself this man is an inspiration. I don't know how he did it. I have chosen to hang up my cleats after my surgeries but this man has not. In addition to the physical resilience he's shown it's also an amazing mental feat to stay focused like that. And apparently he's a great guy off the field as well and that's awesome.

He's a great person and a great player and has done wonders for this team this state and the world. He has earned a statue. He has earned his number to be retired and he has earned to be in the NFL hall of fame.

He has been playing since I could remember football and he is my favorite besides Luke Kuechly simply because watching him taught me to never give up and I played 4 years of high school m. This was my last season and I played with a broken collarbone and a broken rib because that's the mentality he installed in me from a young age.
