FULLY support the board of ed. I wish they'd have told the state to pound sand on their push back but I understand the legalities. Keep the faith BOE. We have your back!

I really don’t have any skin in the game. My daughter is going to a private school because we liked the curriculum and how they have handled the mask issue. However, I do support Ms. Merrill and think she is giving her best!

This BOE deserves the highest praise since they work with the smallest budget yet have the highest scores and student success. I have a senior and my son graduated in ‘20. Both of my kids had outstanding teachers and curriculum. These Board Members deserve a vote of confidence - not to be ostracized because someone disagrees with a policy decision that they are certainly within their scope to make.

I support our Union County Board of Education in it's approach to doing what is best for our children. It is clear that they are taking all relevant data/science into consideration while also listening to the local parents concerns with regard to their children.

Melissa Merrell has stood strong in the face of adversity. She is without a doubt one of the strongest people I know, yet at the same time has so much compassion for the students, parents and staff members of UCPS. Mrs. Merrell, along with the rest of the School Board has brought Union County Schools to where it is today, #1 academically in our state. Our School Board is diversed, hard working, and loyal to their position. We have not had a School Board this good in a long time!
