Give the Eastchester Class of 2020 the Graduation We Deserve

Please get creative. There has to be a way to safely organize this. Drive by Outside? Families remain in their cars?

I think my son deserves more than a virtual graduation even if it’s postponed for a bit

Maybe they can do the graduation by homeroom, with the others outside lined up in their car cherring for their friends. Take turns. Maybe alphabetically...something! Maybe have them lined up around the campus.

The Class of 2020 deserves a proper graduation !!!

Preach it ma! We are the worlds future when it comes to medicine, technology and so much more! Us seniors should be recognized in a way that makes it memorable, it not memorable when we graduate online. Us students are online everyday for our classes, so it’s not special!

Maybe a curbside graduation/ car parking lot situation/ track

These kids have worked way too hard to not be able to have a graduation ceremony! We believe it can safely be done!!

As an alumni of EHS I know how important it is for a graduation ceremony for them I hope they can get a ceremony they deserve .❤️

The senior class deserves a little more creativity and thought at the very least

This is a disservice to our children “EHS class of 2020” . These children are our future they are smart and resilient . They deserve to be recognized while being conscious of their surroundings .

Come on Eastchester get creative. Use the Yonkers Casino parking lot. If the district doesn't do it, parents should organize a graduation for the kids.

Something better than a virtual graduation can be done. Let them space out 6ft apart and walk up and take their diploma off a table. Parents don’t even need to be there. It can be live streamed. Let these kids walk for graduation!

While I understand your desire to keep tradition. This is matters of life and death. Many of us have had to make sacrifices and I’m sorry many schools have accepted this fact. This is extremely selfish and dangerous. It is not just about you it is about endangering others. Have you all been tested to determine every potential attendee is negative, otherwise, this would be reckless and hazardous behavior.

Eastchester Strong- we can definitely do better to reward their hard work and efforts of the last 12 years.
