We are asking all Iowa residents to Please help support our cause in hopes the Iowa DOT will rethink their decision to place a turning lane on highway 151 near the Apostolic Assembly of Anamosa.

On July 18 2012 a church van, from the Apostolic Assembly of Anamosa, was slowing to turn off highway 151 into the church’s parking lot when it was rear-ended by an 18-wheel semi truck. Multiple people were transported to area hospitals. One child suffered a broken collarbone. Luckily everyone was discharged and sent home with minor cuts, bumps & bruises. Everyone Survived! My sources tell me that the Apostolic Assembly of Anamosa have been denied on two separate occasions to have a turning lane placed near their location. If there would have been a turning lane the accident would never have happened! The children involved would not be traumatized and afraid to go to church. What about the next bus, van or car full of children? Will they be so lucky? For the safety of our children, there needs to be a turning lane placed near the Apostolic Assembly of Anamosa! Please sign the petition.
