Even though my child has nearly straight A's, we feel it is beneficial for them to be in person schooled

I trust that the HS and MS can figure out the logistics to have all kids have the option to return to school full time (4 or 5 days a week). We are really grateful for all the hard work of teachers and hope TCSD will provide what you need for your efforts to make this happen. When this happens, it is imperative that teachers, especially in the HS, give our kids FRESH AIR mask breaks, and do not keep them cooped up inside all day. Thank you!

I believe that we should go back to normal because its just plain better than online. It’s is better because we can see our friends and also we don’t need to worry about bad WiFi, because we already know that Albert WiFi is our savior. But in all seriousness, we have to go back to normal.

Our kids need to be back in school. I believe that my child needs to be in school 4 days a week and would benefit greatly from that. This has been a very tough year for him. He talks about how he wishes he was at school on a daily basis.

I think we have a little clue of what we are asking for after being in this situation for almost an entire school year. That is great your kids are excelling. Some are not, some are being abused, others are depressed and in other areas there have been more serious mental health issues and suicides. Just because it hasn’t happened yet here in our community doesn’t mean the mental health issue doesn’t exist. Please don’t say “if our kid is bored it’s on us”- most households are dual working parents each with more than one job. If this is working for you, there are multiple homeschool programs you should look into. Middle school kids have had less than 50 face to face days in school to date, when typically they’d get 20 in the first month of school.

Many of you signing this petition have absolutely no idea what you’re asking for. Aside from it being a logistical nightmare, there are many students and families who are loving this schedule, like ours. It’s allowing our kids to have more time to be kids, have fun and use their imaginations. If your kid is bored or needs something else to do, that’s on you, too. This has been the most amazing gift for our family and many others. Has it been hard and frustrating at times? Absolutely. But it’s also not 100% up to schools to educate our children in the first place. It never should have been in the first place...

Please get our kids back to regular learning so they don't fall behind even further.

As a mother and a physician, I believe our kids can safely return to school full time with the precautions that the school have implemented. As many have commented, some kids are doing fine with at home learning, but many are falling through the cracks both academically and emotionally/socially

We need schools open. Kids are falling way too far behind.

Since moving my daughter out of Jackson Hole schools in September last year, she has been in school full-time 5 days per week in the Park City School district. She has not gotten Covid19 and has only been quarantined 1 time in the past 7 months. Full-time in-person school can happen and can be successful.

The School Board should be discussing the Middle School and High School as an immediate first order of business and focus on getting kids back to school on a more regular basis immediately.

Please make this happen. My kids are suffering from not having in person school. I know for a fact other school districts with a lot larger schools, communities are having there students attend in person more than 2 days a week.

In light of the teachers and staff being offered the vaccine I believe that it is time to return the high school and middle school to 4 or 5 days per week. The hybrid schedule is not providing enough face to face instruction for students. Thank you.

If we can figure out how to do it safely, I am in full support of Middle and High School students returning to school four days a week.

First, TCSD has done an amazing job. So, thank you. Since the Covid cases are declining and more importantly, the teachers will be able to get their vaccines, I would agree that middle and high school students should return to school 4 days a week. I do realize that this will be quite a bit of work. But, if the district can make this happen, I believe it will help students mentally and academically. Thank you again.

My child is thriving in middle school the way things are but I believe that there are way to many kids falling through the cracks and that in person learning is the number one thing in our community that is widening the divide between the our diverse student body.
