Signatures are for an addition to include plastic water bottles in the Michigan Beverage Container Act which provides carbonated drinks with a deposit of $.10. Signatures will be collected and sent to our local representative Gary Glenn. More public awareness of the issue is vital to getting a plastic water bottle deposit bill passed. Getting those plastic bottles out of our rivers and ditches will make for a much healthier environment.
