AOT:R Give Lore a Linear and Player-Driven Story, and Give Ronin Control of the Lore Team.

Before we begin, we would like to clarify everything. This is not an attack on Ape or any member of staff; this is intended to voice the community’s displeasure with how lore is being handled. Also, Ronin was in no way involved in this movement, as we do not wish for any negative repercussions towards him.
What do we mean by Linear?
We should follow a single story path rather than jumping around on AOT’s timeline. From our experience, many people joined Lore to engage with a unique AOT-based storyline, doing their best to push it forward and make an impact, whether positive or not. Because that’s what lore is, is it not? What makes lore so unique is that we become our characters, shaping them as the story unfolds. In our eyes, lore is an open book that we are all helping to write, one that only makes sense when read in order. Jumping around the timeline breaks that sense of progression and immersion. If we wanted to experience AOT’s events out of order, we could just play the campaign or Revolution. But that's not why we’re here; we’re here to create something original and alive.
Why The Current Model Doesn’t Work:
Relying on random events prevents the story from feeling unique or meaningful to players. Instead, it makes the experience feel disconnected and uneventful, especially for those who joined expecting a player-driven story. The goal of Lore is to emulate the world of Attack on Titan while giving us the ability to develop original characters with meaningful stories. But without a linear, consistent storyline, character development becomes impossible. Players need a world where their actions make an impact; without that, what's the point of lore? A system built solely on random events turns the experience into something closer to Attack on Titan: Revolution—a game with no lasting consequences or continuity. That’s not what the lore server is for. We want to live as Scouts, Stationary Guard, or Military Police, people who genuinely matter within a larger, unfolding story. When there’s no direction or permanence, that meaning is lost.
The Solution, and its justification:
Our resolution is simple. Make a lore team led by Ronin that has control over lore and its story. While the lore team should be involved, the story should be AT LEAST 70% unforced, leaving it up to players to decide most of the events. To clarify, this would mean that any players intending to act out any major lore-affecting scenarios they would have to run it by the Lore Team to ensure that it doesn't clash with other plans, isn't too outrageous, etc. The rest of the minor lore developments wouldn't need Lore approval, and would happen naturally as more events are played out. The Lore team should be there to script a general story and write events when needed, adapting with the plot that players develop independently. Doing this allows our story to be organized and player-driven, giving us the best of both worlds. To simplify it:
Around 60-70% Player-Driven Lore.Ronin Leads a Lore Team.
Players can submit Lore-Impacting Scenarios, to be Approved by Lore Team.
Ape no longer has to worry about lore, giving him time to develop Resistance.
A Final Message:
Nonetheless, regardless of the choice made, we still do appreciate the small community we have made together and the bonds that have been formed as a result of the Lore Server existing.
