Yes ! This is much needed ! It will definitely make LA a much livelier place on par with NYC and many European capital cities and it will be more attractive for tourists as well and draw even more in!

This will act to LOWER drunk driving since people will not be thrown out at the sidewalk at 1:45a.

Please extend! With Uber and Lyft ride service now days, people will have safe and reliable transportation back home after the bars close. Extended hours also equals more tax collected!

I am 100% on board for this. I hail from New York City and have lived in Downtown LA for the last ten years. I have been fortunate to be a part of and witness the inspiring growth of our food and beverage industry. Allowing businesses to serve until 4am would allow downtown to continue to define itself as a cultural and nightlife destination.

Bars and venues in LA are already open that late, the only thing it would change in my perspective is that serving alcohol until later may keep the patrons in the venues until later thus supporting the smaller acts that usually close shows for a smaller crowd that generally leaves after alcohol stops being served
