On the 25th June 2013 Jon Jafari, better known on the Internet as comic personality JonTron, left the hugely popular show Game Grumps. (A show on YouTube which has an audience of over a million people and each video typically gains tens of thousands of views and thousands of Likes) As to be expected many fans were extremely upset at Jon's departure from Game Grumps: flooding the Game Grumps sub-reddit (at gamegrumps.com) with hundreds of messages voicing their sorrow, in addition to leaving similar comments on the Game Grumps YouTube channel and comments sections to many of the videos. While we must accept and appreciate Jon's decision and wishes what many fans feel particularly confused and upset by is how poorly Jon's departure from the show was handled: The audience of over a million received no forewarning that Jon was leaving until and abrupt announcement on the 25th of June. In addition to this the announcement video - which is only a few minutes in length - was uploaded to the channel and we are treated to a couple of minutes (not even in HD) of Jon explaining why he is leaving. A few hours later it was also revealed - as abruptly - that a new show called Steam Train was starting on the Game Grumps channel. This, in itself, was not an offense and that show has deservedly gained a fan base too; however because these events were suddenly sprung upon the audience in such quick succession, and without, proper preparation many fans having been left with a profound sense of confusion and hurt. Soon it will be the one year anniversary of the start of the Game Grumps channel: On July 18 2013. We, the loyal audience and fans of Game Grumps, believe that Jon deserves a better send off from the show than what was given, after all of the hard work and entertaining hours that he provided. Jon Jafari won the hearts and minds of many Lovelies; it would be wrong to so brutally bereave them. So petition this motion to you: Please give JonTron a better send off from Game Grumps. And throw in a few "ECCHHs" for good measure! ;)
