I belive these kids deserve to be with their granfather as long as he is watched closely and monitored accordingly, these kids have been through enough pain and heartbreak not to mention the stresses they have suffered, if the grandfather is fit and can afford to take care of them properly.... then give him custody.don't punish those kids for their parents wrongs.
