After spending years boating on the river we finally made the decision last year to actually move on the river so that we could continue enjoying boating and river life. If this was to go through it would ruin our dreams that we actually made happen.

A lot of us grew up on the river north of Algonquin and can't imagine life without being able to use power boats on it.

Paddlecraft already have access to 167 miles of the Fox river why ruin the lives of the business and homeowners for a few. Let this wonderful asset alone.

Leave the lower Fox alone! It’s a great recreational asset. Please don’t mess it up!

Chicago has already done enough damage to the rest of the state. Ruin your own city, not everybody elses.

The river and all that it offers effects so many people, businesses, and families. It is a recognized destination and attracts boaters from everywhere around our area. This CMAP plan would devastate so many people and incomes. I would rather see funds invested in the right manner to manage the water system better then control the use of the water system, which should be open to EVERYONE and EVERY boat!

The river is awesome. I live on the chain of lakes, but the lower river is a great place to go boating. I'd never go there if it were broken up into multiple no-wake zones. I can get that on the Chain of Lakes today.

As a homeowner on the river and a river property owner (My pier is on my property into the river) do not restrict power boating on the lower fox river. You’ll destroy my property value.

I just bought a house in Lake Barrington on the lower river. As a home owner on the river and a river property owner (My property line goes in to the river where my pier is) I am AGAINST changing the boating regulations on my river. Do not deflate my homes value through this stupid environmentally correct madness.

Leave the lower fox river from McHenry to Algonquin as is. There is plenty of time to safely enjoy paddle activities today.
