To Whom it May Concern,
This is too much for our poor New Yorkers to keep paying these expensive tolls! Enough is enough! You're driving people out of this state because of it!

I live in Bay Ridge Brooklyn. I cross the Verrazzano several times per month. Staten Island is our closest option for shopping and museums. It is also the most convenient/closest route to New Jersey (our other option is to drive all the way into Manhattan first). If the toll keeps going up for Brooklyn families, we will not be able to afford to use this bridge that is located a block from our house!!

I live in b Bay Ridge just on the Brooklyn side of the bridge and we pay 3 times what Stzten Islanders do. We need to use the bridge as much if not more than they do. Extremely unfair.

Beyond upset about this price constantly increasing and completely unfair. It's the only place where we spend this much. Pure craziness.

Lower the tolls if anything. I can't go to SI anymore without breaking the bank. Take some money from the taxes for upkeep.

Brooklyn is an island, same as SI. On order to get to "mainland USA" we have to pay a total of $32 [Verrazzano & Outerbridge $ used as an example] - SI just pays the Outbridge cost of $15. Brooklyn residents need a Verrazzano toll break more than SI does.

This toll amount is ridiculous this is a burden for many and it prevents people from wanting to do any outings such a shopping or other social activities and to think you have to pay $17 to visit your families especially if its more than once a week. Its just ridiculous.

I will be very sad because I cannot visit my Grandchild in NJ as frequent as I would like. I also will not be visiting my Husband's grave in Oceanview Cemetary on all the holidays. I have many friends in Staten Island too and to have a simple lunch with them will cost me $50 with the toll. I no longer go to the SI mall because even with a Macy's coupon, the toll over rides the benefit of the discount. I am on a fixed inome, 70 years old and this is just unfair and wrong!
