As an employee at the College of Staten Island I feel as if I contribute a great deal to the Staten Island community. Additionally, this toll reduction will help recruit talented new employees to the college.

I live in Bay Ridge and work in Staten Island. The toll is unmanageable, even as a middle-class worker with a Ph.D. Please consider lowering the toll!

As someone who commutes from Brooklyn to Staten Island, I think people who work on Staten Island should definitely have a discount below the EZpass charge. It would make a huge difference to my family not to have to pay over $2,000 a year just to get to work!

I work for the Staten Island Ferry... A free ferry for Staten Islander to get to Manhattan. Yet I have to pay $17.00 a day to get to work (from Brooklyn) to help provide them this free service. And yes, there are 2 sides to this bridge, and therefore it's time that the resident discount extends both ways!!!

The Verrazzano Bridge links both Staten Island and Brooklyn. It is fair that residents of both sides pay the same fee. It is the right thing to do. Shame, Shame, Shame! Brooklyn should not carry this Large bridge toll alone... Thank you for your consideration.

That toll is the worst thing to have ever existed in the five boroughs and takes away from the desire to even step foot onto the island.
