It's hard enough to get young kids these days away from their Xbox 1 or their Playstation4, then when we do and encourage them to play football what does this country do it takes away their park. A coach is a thankless task giving up time where basically their is none to try and help these kids develop a hobby & a skill. When was the last time anyone drove past a park with jumpers or coats as goalposts and wee lads & lassies running about kicking a ball I'll tell you never. This is the ideal way to get them away from their electronic equipment and not only play football but keep fit, we are always moaning about the weight off our kids & the weight off the population and the effect on the NHS. Well I think I've given a few reasons as to why Bargeddie a home and if it's not to be this one then a brand new one because these kids deserve it. It has been their for many years and it is not their fault that a fire resulted in the loss off their changing rooms and too deprive the kids the opportunity to play a sport they love and can't wait to get home from school or the weekend to play and now it's gone. If this is allowed to stand then it must be true what they say that the money that is in our game never reaches grass roots football, and it will be shame on us if this is allowed to happen. So I employed you restore pride in Bargeddie Colts along standing testimony to an outdoor sports facility for approx 120 people in the community and save not just any park but their park, their home and I would demand an audience with whoever is in charge of making the decision on where this club should be playing so it's not just words on paper but you will see the passion in our argument etched on our faces as we hope to deliver good news to all in the village that Bargeddie Colts can and will be playing at their home park where they have been playing since they first became into existence, Thank You.

Too many villages losing their football pitches. They used to be the heart of these villages.

Grass roots football is really what it's all about and local youth teams are an integral part of the community.
