As things stand, Hideo Kojima has directed the making of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, from start to finish. The team "Kojima Productions" have produced the game under Kojima. Despite Konami being the publisher and having little creative input, they have decided to removed the Kojima Productions logo and the heading "A Hideo Kojima game" from the box art and all advertising material related to the game.
