Girls can be Smart Too!
Have you ever thought about how many people go to school? Not everyone gets an opportunity! About 29 million boys and 132 million girls are out of school. You can see that most of these students are girls. Shouldn’t girls get quality education too? I feel that this discrimination is unfair and that more actions should be taken to support girl’s education.
Firstly, girls education isn’t always considered. The parents may believe that girls are supposed to stay home and help with household chores. Girls need an education in order to find suitable work, otherwise they will have to cook and clean in their own homes! Also, girls in some countries are sold to others and they make the girls work in their house. Do you want them to suffer?
Therefore, girls can’t go to school in some places because their parents don’t have enough money to pay for an education. Children will have to work in agriculture, mines, slums at the age of 5 or 6! They would most likely do this for the rest of their life just to earn some money for their family. Did you know that the girls education will be affected by work at young age?
On the other hand,education for girls also prevents early marriage. Did you know that some people force their daughters to marry young? Some girls get married at the age of 10 or 11! They would not know how to care for their babies or manage the house. Furthermore,they would also be unable to get an education to their children since they didn’t get one themselves.
In conclusion, girls around the world need education and your support! They are depending on you and would make the world a far better place. So open a girls school, create fundraisers, sign this petition and spread awareness. Girls education matters!

im still reading through all the stories people are leaving in the comments and it honestly breaks my heart. this is way bigger than i thought it would be but we have to keep pushing because these girls deserve a future where they have a choice.
