Jeff Jung is the man for the job. Extremely knowledgeable and a passion for the game. Great rapport with the girls and a vested interest in the program. No brainer.

Burke is the most unintelligent coach of any sport I have ever seen and it is mind boggling how this athletic intellectual incompetent person got hired over Jeffery jung who would’ve turned the program around

My daughter is currently involved in the Athletics department at Olympia. The past two years have been quite struggle. I think that Coach Burke would be better qualified teaching the girls modified basketball team because I feel that he is able to teach them the skills that they need to know about the game. As they get older and move up they need stronger coaches who know more about the game so that they can be successful and have a winning team. I know that winning isn’t everything, but it sure does increase the morale of team. I have seen Jeff Jung with the girls and they do respond to him very well. He is very knowledgable about the game and has the best interest of the girls at heart and wants to see them getting better each time they play. Some of these girls might want to play in college and after the pitiful season for both the JV and Varsity teams last season, no one would ever come to see them. Please listen to the parents and the girls. Sometimes change is a good thing! I feel that if you do not make this necessary change you will have a mutiny and none of the girls will play for Olympia! They will find someplace else.

These girls need a coach they can look up to and learn from. If a whole team of girls don't want to play for a particular coach, there has got to be a valaid reason. If they have no faith in that coach's ability then you have the wrong coach! Listen to your students/athletes!

This is my daughter's senior year and it would be a huge disappointment if what happened last year happens again. She played last year as she and the rest of the girls were committed to each other as well as the game. Unfortunately the Coach that was chosen to lead them did not know the game and the team suffered because of that. If you are not going to hire Jeff Jung as head Coach please find a Coach that is experienced and can teach and coach the girls. Last year was a huge waste of a year and talent due to the lack of experience. Mr Burke is a good man and good teacher but not a good coach for girls Varsity Basketball. Thank you
