I loved my years at Harpeth Hall as did my daughters. To this day, my closest friends are the ones I made at HH.

Completely concur. Not developing outreach to students, parents, alumnae, and donors on this issue before notifying the interested parties of this profound change was irresponsible. The full board should have been provided all relevant content with time to deliberate prior to voting on such an important issue. This was a power play—perhaps to install a widely unpopular policy without the governed having a voice.

Harpeth Hall is a school for girls...not for boys wanting to be girls. I never even considered HH caving to this idea. This definitely needs to be reconsidered.

This is an incredible misstep and a pure overreach from the board and the board of trustees without any consultation whatsoever to past parents students and financial supporters. I am firmly of the opinion that only biological girls should be considered to attend Harpeth Hall.

This should NEVER have happened at this prestigious and beloved academic institution.
