my camp blanket is one of my most treasured possessions and it would be wonderful if I could have a cloth version of the QG as I have worked so hard to achieve it.

what a good idea, like others have said, my camp blanket is a story of my life, why cant i have a cloth one as well. surely its just one step on from the everyday bagde that we have for the Queens Guide

as corny as it may sound I think the camp blanket should represent the journey through Guiding. Every badge has a story behind it and frankly this badge would be the greatest story of the all. I will be finishing this award in 2 years and I would hope this badge will be available by then.

I worked hard for my Queen's Guide, I'd love a badge to go on my camp blanket to add to my guiding story. Being a Rainbow leader and spending lots on time on camp, I don't often wear a badge tab so having something for my camp blanket would be more appropriate for how I wish to choose to display my award.

The Queen's Guide is such a special and prestigious award that members who hold it should have the option to display it n camp blankets as well as uniform.

There are so many memories made at Guiding and we encourage Guides and Senior Section and Leaders to record their Guiding journey, and camp blankets are a very special way of doing this. Other Awards have a cloth badge, so it would be fantastic for People to be Awarded a cloth badge.

A cloth badge is a definite. I got mine in 1977 which I had sewn on a pillow but has since been destroyed. Anyway yes to cloth Queens Guide badges

When I received my Queen's Guide, way back in the early 1980's I was given both a metal and a cloth badge. My cloth badge has pride of place on my camp blanket and now my Guides enjoy looking at it and me tellign them all about it! I cannot understand WHY this has been withdrawn - it would cost such a small amount but be so warmly received!

I believe a cloth badge Queens Guide (and Baden Powell Challenge Award) should be available as a long term record not just the enamel one. This should be controlled through the County Badge Secretary. But I also believe they should be available to those who already have the award.

I'd love an official one to display on my camp blanket, where I wouldn't dare take my metal ones in case I lost them! It also would mean we don't have to resort to unofficial cloth ones (and all those profits going straight back into Girlguiding too!)
