I spent the morning scrolling through your comments and realized how many of you share this deep frustration over the missing giraffe emoji. People keep asking why such a gentle icon is absent from our keyboards and I am working to get an answer from those who control the updates.

Seeing this momentum grow has been surreal because it reminds me that so many other people also feel the absence of this simple creature. I keep looking at my keyboard and imagining that missing spot filled by a giraffe. The enthusiasm you have all shown makes me feel like we are finally going to get that icon added.

I'm a giraffe fan, giraffes are my favorite animal. It would be pretty awesome to see a giraffe emoji, I would put a giraffe at the end of each sentence if I have too, just because it's a giraffe emoji.
My Aniaml is the elephant and my best friend's is the giraffe. So she gets to put an elephant emoji next to my name but I don't get to put a Giraffe next to hers!!!!! It is unfair!!
THERE IS NO REASON WHY THERE COULD BE 5 MONKEY EMOJIS AND THERE NOT BE A SINGLE ONE FOR A GIRAFFE.
The fact that this noble creature has been so callously snubbed is an insult not only to me, but to the entire digital age. When creatures as lazy as pandas and as murderous as alligators receive emojis, the exclusion of the sweet, gentle giraffe must be condemned in the harshest words possible.
My best friend's nickname is Sexy Giraffe (bc it's her favorite animal) and I have to have the caterpillar bc it's the only one with a long neck!
Bring us Gary the giraffe dude!

The Guraffe is an iconic and beautiful unique animal loved by so many people. It is head and shoulders above other animals that have their own emoji !!!
