The studio has officially confirmed that the Gilmore Girls movie is moving into development. It is deeply rewarding to see how our collective dedication turned this possibility into a reality.
By signing this petition you are joining the "Gilmore Girls Movie Project". Our goal is to really show them how loyal the fans still are, and how badly we wish for a movie.
Reaching one thousand signatures is a quiet reminder of how much this story still resonates with people long after the final episode aired. It is heartening to see so many individuals reflect on the legacy of Stars Hollow with such clarity and affection.

The stories coming through in the comments show just how much these characters felt like real people to us all. I am currently organizing the feedback to ensure our message is presented clearly to the production studios.

Seeing the count reach one hundred signatures confirms that the desire for a film remains strong among our community. This initial milestone shows a clear appreciation for the world of Stars Hollow that continues to thrive years later.

This is my favourite show, I've rewatched every episode more times then I can count but I've never been able to deal with how the series ended. We need closure! We need Lorelai and Luke married! I'm more then ready to fund a Gilmore Girls movie via kickstarter if that's what it comes to.

My daughter and I love this show because it is so closely accurate to our life. We hated how there was no closure and would love to see a movie of how it all ended. Please please pleaseeee make a movie, ASP!!!

We need a Gilmore Girls movie. The original writers deserve to finish their story. The faithful fans deserve to have their closure. The beautiful, funny, inspiring series that is Gilmore Girls deserves its proper ending.

Probably one of the most influential shows I watched growing up. My mom and I have the same close bond that Lorelai and Rory did...I'd love to see where they ended up, as I'm now at the age Rory was when the series ended!

I have loyally watched the show since day one, and spent nearly $300 to buy the box set of all 7 seasons when it came out. Please, PLEASE we need closure. This show has so many loyal fans there has to be SOME WAY to find the funding to do this!

It's been almost 7 years since Gilmore Girls ended, but we still love it...we're still signing petitions, asking questions, begging Amy...if that doesn't show you how much we love Stars Hollow and the Gilmore girls, I'm not sure what will.
