Keep the No-Wake rule for Giles Lake as it's been for the twenty years that we been lake property owners. There is no need to extend it beyond 4:00 PM.

I’ve been property owner for over 20 years on Gilas Lake. I have thoroughly enjoyed the boating activities with my family during the wake hours from 10-4pm. However, my favorite time of the day is after 4pm when I can slowly troll around on my pontoon boat and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Gilas Lake! Please protect this precious time for all!

Request township consider both fairness issue (changing a 30yr practice/precedent that people have made life decisions...full-time resident) and benefit to township in having many different lakes with different wake hours in the area to meet the variety of preferences throughout the township).

I like the 4:00PM time to let the lake settle down for other recreational activities, i.e. fishing, floating, kayaking, paddle boards, etc. This is one of the benefits that influenced me in purchasing property on Gilas Lake in the first place.
