Like a steadfast plant, he was a Proven Winner. He turned himself into a wonderful man, and neglected his love of baseball to do what needed to be done. He had World Records, and kept his wonderful sense of self, and shared his knowledge by teaching being well-respected by all. He is equivalent to an American Idol in a singing competition, only he is the American Idol in baseball. He has the "X-Factor" of Being All You Can Be, an Officer and a Gentleman type, with gentle and loving concern for his family, his Team Mates, his Players, his friends and his fans....Well-spoken, kind, confident, and business-like, why is he NOT in the Hall of Fame....Gee, it really would be nice since I read his wife is 91 now. It should be an easy and clear decision that it is the right thing to do!

A true baseball legend and good man, very deserving of being amongst the greats in the hall of fame. Long overdue, vote him in right away so that his family can witness this honor and his wife especially who’s now 94 years old.
