All through his career, he was considered a no-brainer Hall of Famer and he'd pose with the other four Dodger All-Stars to get across the point that all 5 were of equal value and were headed for Cooperstown. There is no doubt he should join them! He had the most homers by a righthanded hitter in history when he retired!!! That alone should qualify him, but he did so much more above and beyond. He's still a no-brainer for the HOF.

One of the main cogs to the Dodger Dynasty from 1949 to 1959. They would not have done it without Gil. My favorite player. Hope they finally get it right. Good Luck Gil, you died way to young like Robinson, Drysdale, Gilliam, tragety to Roy Campannella, etc.
