His statistics are as good as a many who came after him and were inducted into the HOF. I have also read books by quite a few people from the era and many of those people think he was definitely one of the best 1B of his time.

Hodges was a great credit to baseball and still is. He deserves to be in the Hall of Fame just as much as any other player in the Hall does!!!
