Based on the watered down criteria and the fact that pitchers who pitch one inng and less than 100 innings a season get in, add to that it's only a matter of time before a one way player (DH) get in, how can you not induct him?

Gil Hodges deserves to be in the Hall of Fame, and not just as the premier first baseman in the National League in his time. He molded the 'Amazin Mets' of 1969 to the unlikeliest of world champions. I'm a Cubs fan but I greatly respect what Gil Hodges did in 1969. He deserves to be inducted in Cooperstown
