This is way over due. He hit in the middle of one of the greatest teams in baseball history, won numerous gold gloves and would have won more if they would have had the award and he managed the miracle mets. Put Gil in the HOF now!

Growing up in New jesey and even as I moved, the Dodgers were my "hometown" team. This man was a class act and definitely an excellent hitter, fielder and team leader. He deserves to be included in the Hall of Fame.

Gil was a friend of my grandfather and I was introduced to him as a young boy. Very classy man as well as very deserving as a player and manager. HE BELONGS!!!

A converted catcher who bacame a superb first baseman, a power hitter, an 8-time All Star, and a terrific and inspiring manager. Hewas also a man of character and class. He richly deserve to be int the Hall of Fame in Springfield.
