There is absolutely no reason why Gil Hodges should be denied enshrinement to the HOF. He was instrumental in the success of the Boys of Summer and did it with ability and grace.

He had a wonderfully successful playing career, and was a first-rate manager, as well, winning a world championship with the New York Mets. I have always believed he should be in the HOF.
