This is the most amazing, most important movie that has been made in a while. With four women taking the lead, little girls have new badass role models to look up to and admire! Girls barely EVER get that! Also, despite Paul Feig and Kate McKinnon being forced not to speak about Holtzmann's sexuality, lesbians all over the world are losing their minds over their new gay icon, which is huge! A sequel needs to be made because women and girls, and lesbians need more opportunities to see themselves represented on screen doing cool, badass things, and also so that these happy feelings stay alive :)

This movie was everything to me. Not only was it a great reboot to a classic, and an absolutely hilarious, action-packed movie, but it's also so much more than that. This is the first movie that I've ever seen with all powerful, intelligent female leads with no romantic storyline. Also, one of the characters was confirmed to be gay, and it wasn't a big thing in the movie; it just was. As a young lesbian aspiring to get into the acting business one day, this movie is absolutely everything to me. I want to cry tears of joy because it honestly seemed like we might never have something like this, and here we are. And to top it all off, it had some of my favorite actresses whom I look up to in it, and I couldn't be happier. PLEASE make a sequel. It would mean the world to me.

It was so great to see women as heroes, scientists, and as people on the screen. As a girl who wants to be a scientist when I grow up it was such a great feeling to FINALLY see something like that with my little brother who loves the new ghostbusters as much as I do. I NEED a sequel

It may not have completely succeeded dollar wise, but this movie seriously lifted my soul and gave me so much pride a joy I could cry. This movie has become a beautiful and powerful movement for all women.

This film was exactly what I needed- if this movie had come out when I was a kid I would have been all over it For. Years. I loved having women in a starring role with no romance and no jokes based on the femininity of the women. It was tasteful. It was inspiring. It was hilarious. I saw it so many times at the cinema that the people at the ticket booth recognised me. Having clever women in film, who don't demean each other and have no real rivalries/jealousies between each other is a feat in itself and I'd love to see more of this
we need this sequel
