There should be an alternative examination body for students in Ghana
Many people were not able to further their education because WAEC blocked their results
And the causes are many too much. What is even killing me is that if you don't pass Maths , English and Science you will not be able to further your education

Indeed the west african examination council has not lived fully to it mandate or its core values over the years of existence. In adding to what has been said, I will say that, they also fall short in the exams they set for students.They come out with syllabus but yet don't set questions to cover all areas or topics in the syllabus. An examination paper is suppose to have questions on all areas contained in the syllabus so that the student will at least find some questions to answer. This will drastically reduce poor academic performnce.It will also reduce or eliminate examination malpractices among students as well as minimise exam leakages and the interest people have in them. An exam paper that covers all areas concern or topics in the syllabus makes it authentic,credible,reliable,complete and depicts or proves that, it is a true test of knowledge . It also improves the image of the examination body. I suggest that the ministry of education should set aside and independent body that will thoroughly inspects all exams questions set by waec making sure it meets certain standards before passing it on for it to be conducted.

Waec should and Ghana education services is spoiling the country. Students get As Bs and D or E and wants to study, they don’t get access to any institutions. Tertiaries should admit students base on their courses and not on their grades
